The Spink Family Fund

Henrietta and Michael Spink are the parents of two profoundly and differently disabled sons, Henry and Freddie. Henry and Freddie are totally dependent on others for their support whilst living at home with their parents. Henrietta and Michael have borne years of broken sleep, medical emergencies and endless domestic drudgery which have caused severe emotional and financial strain.

Notwithstanding the challenges, Henrietta had a dream - that Henry would walk one day. However, Henry’s medical condition has deteriorated over the past year in particular, and now he cannot walk or talk. Like his brother, Freddie, every aspect of Henry’s life must be organised by Michael and Henrietta. Funds are needed throughout the year for the very high level of care the boys require.
